Alcohol ink is the perfect medium to explore. You will hear me say that it has a mind of its own. That is because one of the properties of this ink is that diluting it with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing 91%) allows the ink to flow. It is just beautiful and the marble-look is very impressive.
As you work with this medium more, you will be able to control your piece with a drier brush and then you are open to painting leaves, flowers and abstracts. As shown in the art on the left, alcohol ink is very versatile and can be applied to a number of surfaces.
I have mastered a technique that I want to share with all of you. My techniques are simple and require no talent! I have years experience as a demonstrator and instructor. In a single workshop, in this case a video, you will walk away with a beautiful piece of art and you will be proud. If you are like me, you will be hooked after the first video.

A little about me...
"Art is my passion and I am ready to share
my secrets with everyone."
I knew from a young age that I had an artistic talent. I am also a twin, Darlene, who I hold dear to my heart. However, it was my older sister who was very artistic and she encouraged me to be creative and expand my ideas and art to the fullest. Adding a "Wow" factor to each piece became my goal.
Later in life, after raising 3 wonderful children, a new door opened and I found my high school sweetheart after 42 years thanks to social media.
Jim is very supportive of me and after building me my own studio, then said, "Now, spread your wings and fly!"
We are actually both mosaic artists, but alcohol ink has taught me so much about art and everyday I am fascinated by the amazing properties and textures the ink can create. The possibilities unfold to me everytime I paint. I have expanded into opening an art gallery where I sell my pieces. People are fascinated by this medium and now I am ready to share my secrets with you. I can only do so much locally but everyone should know how great and profitable this medium is. I hope that I can share that passion with all of you because it is a medium that will capture your interest and then your heart.
